For light shafts, basement windows and covers where, in addition to protection against leaves and small debris, higher load-bearing capacity is required, our 38 mm high micro-grating offers the perfect solution.
The tight 8 x 8 mm mesh structure reliably keeps out leaves, twigs, and dirt. The greater height provides noticeably more rigidity for larger shaft dimensions compared to the 30 mm version.
Installation note: The specifications apply to walkable covers with all-round, load-bearing support for standard shaft dimensions. Larger self-supporting spans and trafficked areas are project-dependent and must be checked in advance. We will design these cases for your project together with our structural engineering partner; please contact us before ordering. The planning and execution of the substructure are the responsibility of the user.

For open gratings, it is best to use our special stainless steel grating clamps (V2A/V4A). These grip perfectly into the 38x38 mm mesh and fix the grating rust-free and storm-proof to the substructure.
If you want to install our closed GRP floor plates or stair treads, we recommend our weather-resistant 2K epoxy adhesive for a bomb-proof hold without drilling – alternatively, these can also be conventionally screwed.
