The lightweight and extremely durable alternative to steel and aluminum profiles: Our GRP rectangular tube 80 x 50 mm is ideal as a supporting beam for trusses, platform and walkway frames, and larger spans both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the high-quality fiberglass composite, it is absolutely corrosion-free, electrically insulating, and permanently weather-resistant – without any additional surface treatment. The tube can be easily sawn, drilled, and cut to length individually, making it suitable for custom-made construction solutions. Perfect as a support, truss, and frame profile in industry, commerce, and public areas.
Note on use: Our GRP profiles are supplied as semi-finished products, not as dimensioned load-bearing structures. Permissible spans, load assumptions, and the design of connection points depend on the respective project and must be checked in advance. For load-bearing structures, we will design your project together with our structural engineering partner; please contact us before ordering. For open gratings, it is best to use our special stainless steel grating clamps (V2A/V4A). These grip perfectly into the 38x38 mm mesh and fix the grating rust-free and storm-proof to the substructure.
If you want to install our closed GRP floor plates or stair treads, we recommend our weather-resistant 2K epoxy adhesive for a bomb-proof hold without drilling – alternatively, these can also be conventionally screwed.
